IMD Prediction: Bengal weather changes in thunderstorm
As per, IMD reports West Bengal is facing squally weather, and the state capital is facing wind speeds ranging from 35 kmph to 45 kmph, with strong winds blowing up to 55 kmph in some areas. This weekend several districts in Bengal like Howrah, Hooghly, and east Midnapore, including Kolkata got warnings of thunderstorm experience from Friday to Sunday by the Weather Agency.
The areas of Odisha and Jharkhand will be facing the same weather, which includes hailstorms, lightning, and gusty winds, which are up to 50 kmph over here. On 22nd March, the weather is predicted to be more intense, where blowing winds reaching 40-50 kmph and flashes of lightning, and hailstorms in these areas.
IMD Prediction: Fishermen in West Bengal and Odisha are warned
IMD has warned the Fishermen working on the Coastal, to avoid working near the sea because of the weather’s worst conditions.
The IMD prediction of 23rd March, Sunday is said to be facing the same weather issue and is alert to avoid working near the coast, due to the heavy thunderstorms, hailstorms, lightning, and gusty winds blowing.
