Atal Setu is a development for India and also a proud moment. The six-lane trans-harbor bridge is 21.8 km out of which 16.5km is on sea. It shows the infrastructure evolution.

The Prime Minister shared the statement that the inauguration of the longest bridge which is known as “Atal Setu “has formally been named Atal Bihari Vajpayee Sewari-Nhava Sheva Atal Setu. Due to this development, the employment ratio of the country has also increased. More than 17,000 laborers were working on this project and 2,000 engineers getting employment opportunities in the construction and transport industries.

As you all know, India is a developing country, and as long as it keeps developing in all sectors, there are facilities for all. In this developing country, due to Atal Setu, the distance will be reduced in all corners of the country. It will build up connectivity from Mumbai to Navi Mumbai, South India. It also connects Pune and Goa. Atal Setu Bridge has made life easy and less time-consuming.

PM Narendra Modi also thanked the government of Japan for recalling the late Japanese PM and said that they both committed to completing the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link project.

Narendra Modi stated “Our intention is clean and commitment is for country’s improvement and evolution. The Prime Minister also added that the previous government planned to do vote bank politics and to fill up their trunks. Their dedication was toward their family not to the country.

While the project was initially created in the 1960s, and the first tender was floated in 2006, it was reworked several times and undertaken several unsuccessful project biddings. It was also caught in a sarcastic business dispute before work finally commenced in 2018, largely because of the Japan International Cooperation Agency, which primarily funded the project.

ATAL SETU

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde share’s his opinion on Atal Setu:

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde compared Atal Setu with Ram Setu adding that the way of ram setu destroyed the arrogance of Ravana, in the same way the new bridge will destroy the vanity of opposition.

Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis statement on Atal Setu:

Devendra Fadnavis stated that the Achievement of the Atal Setu sea bridge was a success of the “Modi Raj”.
