Valentine’s Day celebration special in 2025:<\/strong> Valentine’s Day is celebrated on 14th February every year, this year the day is coming on Friday. Valentine’s Day is special for lovers who want to express love and affection to their loved ones. It is also celebrated by Christians in honor of St. Valentine. This day is followed by the ancient Roman, Victorian era. In the 3rd century A.C.E. during the Roman emperor Claudius II, the priest in Rome secretly made soldiers married, going against the emperor’s will. On Valentine\u2019s Day, people exchange gifts, cards, and flowers which is considered a gesture of sharing love.
\nValentine\u2019s Day is especially for couples to express their love to their loved ones with the gesture of giving gifts to their special ones, spending time, giving them bouquets to express love, and many more impressive things. There are many stories related to Valentine’s Day which happened in two years by Roman emperor Claudius II in the 3rd century A.C.E. It is said that the priest in Rome made Roman soldiers marry in secret, which was against the emperor’s wish. Marriage for young men was banned assuming that the men being single would make them the better soldier.<\/p>\n

Why is Valentine\u2019s Day celebrated?<\/strong><\/p>\n

This day was specially celebrated to unite lovers in Rome. In ancient Rome St. Valentine, a Christian priest, marriage\u2019s soldiers performed secretly, the one who performed was later imprisoned and accomplished on 14th February. In Roman 14th February was also celebrated festival of Lupercalia, in mid of February, on this day men use to remove their clothes to sacrifice a goat or a dog. Then with the sacrifices goat or dog’s blood men clean women to increase fertility. By doing this young women\u2019s put their name written on cheat to pair men to marry them. This festival of Lupercalia was celebrated by the Roman people from 13-15 February. Although, time passed and Christianity spread all considered Valentine\u2019s Day as the feast of Saint Valentine, and also as in modern this day is celebrated as the day of love and romance.<\/p>\n
